Oh Twitter… what shall we do with you?
Why on earth would a Marc Jacobs intern write bad things about the company on Twitter; especially when it was on Marc Jacobs’ Twitter??!!
An unpaid intern was in charge of writing posts on the company’s Twitter account.
Yet he/she wrote things like: “I was asked to do this until we found a replacement… I hate this job. Hope they find someone soon. Robert is so picky! We have presented him with 50 people. He’s not happy.”
And “You guys and gals have no idea how difficult Robert is. I am only an intern. My last day is tomorrow. I wouldn’t be tweeting this if not!”
Check out what else they said here.
Rule no.1 for interns: NEVER bash the company you are working for on cyberspace. You think that would be common knowledge for people in the workforce.
Even though bad things were stated about the company. They are getting great publicity. More people are looking at their Twitter account now than before at a ripe number of 116,000.
At least the intern did his job of getting people to look at the Twitter page.
